Travel Award to Experimental Biology 2019 for Johanna Schaubächer

Johanna Schaubächer received a travel award for her presentation at this year's Experimental Biology Meeting taking place in Orlando, Florida/USA. Her talk on platelet-leukocyte interactions in inflammation is part of the prestigious session "Kaley Award featured topic: the microcirculation and its many cells that contribute to tissue repair". It is named in honor of Dr. Gabor Kaley, who devoted his professional career equally to two pursuits: advancing microcirculatory research and development and training of young scientists, encouraging them to investigate important problems in microvascular physiology and pathophysiology.
