Clinical rotations at Harvard Medical School

IRTG student receives scholarship during his practical year

Ludwig Weckbach, MD student of SFB 914 and member of the IRTG, received a scholarship from the medical faculty of Ludwig Maximilians University to complete rotations in internal medicine at Harvard teaching hospitals in Boston, USA. The scholarship was awarded through the LMU's MeCuM StEP program ("Studierenden Excellenz Programm").

After returning to Munich in the summer of 2012, Ludwig will continue to work on his MD project on leukocyte trafficking.

MeCuM StEP provides scholarships for practical year

Participants of the MeCuM StEP program receive a scholarship to spend part of their practical year in the USA at either Harvard Medical School, Weill Cornell Medical College or the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. Scholarships are also awarded for visits to the University of Queensland School of Medicine in Brisbane, Australia and the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry in Edmonton, Canada.
