Spinning-disk confocal microscopy facility

Fast and high-resolution imaging of leukocyte trafficking using spinning-disk confocal microscopy

The project uses high-resolution spinning-disk confocal microscopy (SDCM) to perform high-definition as well as ultra-fast 4D imaging of leukocyte trafficking and localization in time and space. This technology extends the current methodology within CRC 914 with respect to imaging leukocyte trafficking behavior. The SDCM facility is open to all members of the CRC and offers the scientific and technical support to perform multi-color confocal imaging of immune cells, their subcellular compartments as well as their micro-environments in various animal tissues.
